About the event

The Winter Solstice is the beginning of the astronomical winter, the day with the fewest hours of sunlight in the whole year, and the day that you would cast the longest shadow outside. Although the Winter Solstice means the start of winter, it also means the return of more sunlight. It only gets lighter and brighter from here!

Join me on the evening of Winter Solstice. We'll begin the session with a focus on beginner friendly breathwork allowing our nervous system to slow down and lean into the practice that follows. We will then lay back and I will guide you into a meditation, leading into a Sound Bath where where you can take some time to rest in the sounds of Tibetan & Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls.  When much of nature is hibernating, allow your body this time to let go of the stress of modern life, and honour the natural rhythms of the earth.

Please bring a yoga mat, portable mattress, or something soft to lay on, a pillow to rest your head, and a blanket to keep you warm and cosy. A bolster or pillow to support your knees may also be useful if you have lower back pain. You will be laying down for some of the session, so being as comfortable as possible is important. Please also bring a drink of water.

Afterwards a warm seasonal drink and snack will be provided.

Any questions, please contact me.
